We think Faraja offer an amazing and unique service in Kenya, we wanted to highlight a little about the good work they do and announce their new Karengata Support Group event taking place on the 21st September.  Open to patients, carers, and anyone who has been through the effects of cancer themselves or seen a loved one go through it.

The Faraja Cancer Support Trust was founded in 2010 with the aim of providing emotional, practical and healing support to anyone affected by cancer.  They offer cancer patients and their carers information, advice, counselling and complementary therapies in order to make their cancer journey a little more manageable.

Faraja work alongside several institutions and hospitals that offer conventional cancer treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery.  Faraja’s aim to take our patients beyond medical treatment through offering them a holistic approach to coping with the challenges of cancer.
