Since 1940, Karen & Langata District Association (KLDA) has represented the interests of Karen and Langata residents. They strive to ensure that the area is a well-serviced, safe, peaceful and environmentally friendly place to live.

KLDA seek to encourage development that will conserve and enhance our environment for the benefit not only of local residents, but for the city as a whole, and welcome the support of all residents in this endeavour.

The benefits of joining KLDA are:

  • To have a say in the future of Karen and Langata through advocacy and, when necessary legal action, at city and national levels
  • Retaining and enhancing the value of properties
  • Information and advice on services (water, roads, electricity, security)
  • Strengthening neighbourhood associations for mutual benefit
  • Information on, cultural, community and social events in the areaReceive KLDA News, KLDA e-News, access to KLDA Facebook, Updates from Twitter.
